Rest, Refreshment, and Sisterhood:
Looking Back at Women’s Retreat 2026

There is something extraordinary that happens when men step away from the daily noise and step onto the mountain at Camp AREV. This past Men’s Retreat was an unforgettable weekend packed with uplifting excitement, rich Christian fellowship, and life-changing spiritual renewal. The crisp mountain air was constantly filled with non-stop activity, genuine laughter, and warm connection from the moment everyone arrived.

The joy on the mountain was unmistakable all weekend long. Friendly rivalries came alive during our traditional Tavloo (Backgammon) and hatchet-throwing tournaments, while the zip line and archery range kept everyone active and engaged. Men took to the courts and fields for games of soccer and basketball, gathered around board games, and unwound together at the Club Shed, creating priceless memories and bonds that go far beyond a weekend getaway.

Yet, amidst all the fun and activity, God worked deeply in every heart. Moving times of worship, grounding biblical teaching, and honest small group discussions created space for men to lay down daily stress, experience true spiritual rest, and build deep brotherhood rooted in Proverbs 27:17. Men left the mountain spiritually re-anchored, refreshed, and fully equipped to return home to their families, churches, and communities with renewed purpose, strength, and faith.
