Transportation Details

Los Angeles

  • If you signed up for transportation from LA area: Buses are scheduled to leave on Friday evenings from United Armenian Congregational Church by 5:30pm. Please make sure you are prompt and there by 4:30pm to check-in before taking off. Buses will return to UACC on Sunday by 1:30pm

Fresno 

  • If you signed up for transportation from Fresno area: Bus are scheduled to leave on Friday evening  from First Armenian Presbyterian Church by 4:30pm. Please make sure you are there by 4:00pm to check-in before taking off. Buses will return to FAPC on Sunday by 3:00pm 

  • FAPC Address is:

Orange County

  • If you signed up for transportation from Orange Country area: Buses are scheduled to leave on Friday Evening from Armenian Christian Fellowship of Orange County by 3:30pm. Please make sure you are there by 3:00pm to check-in before taking off. Buses will return to ACFOC on Sunday by 3pm

What to bring:

  • Sleeping Items

    • Sleeping Bag or Bedding. Sheets. Pillow.

  • Water Bottle​

    • Please bring your own reusable water bottle.​

  • Toiletries

    • Toothbrush. Toothpaste. Shampoo. Deodorant. Soap. Towel.

  • Clothing

    • Casual, warm and cool weather clothing. Long pants (Jeans or sweat pants). Jacket. Socks. Be ready for possible snowy weather. Closed toed Shoes. Tennis shoes (extra pair). Extra clothes you can get dirty in. 

    • It's a good idea to mark your clothes and sleeping bag in case its gets misplaces.

    • Please dress modestly while at Camp AREV Christian Camp

  • Miscellaneous Item

    • Bible. Pen/pencil. notepad. Flashlight with batteries. Insect repellent. Chapstick. Camera

    • Spending Money for Camp AREV gift shop/snack shop and additional recreational activities

What NOT to bring:

  • Electronic Devices

    • Cell phones. Laser toys. Music players. Video Games

  • Weapons

    • Guns. Knives. Matches. Fireworks. 

  • Miscellaneous Item 

    • Inappropriate reading material or pictures*

    • Inappropriate clothing (shorts (min. 3" inseam), tops min 2 finger width straps, no showing stomachs or midriff, no low cut shirts, no see through, one piece or tankini swimsuits (if you don't have either of these, you make wear a dark tank top or T-shirt over it) no sagging, so inappropriate T-shirts or logos (no drugs, guns, alcohol or any sexual innuendo)

      • you will be asked to change if you are seen with such clothing items. 

  • Medication

    • Please do not bring any over the counter medicine. Our infirmary is fully stocked with all basic over the counter medicines. ​

 

Camp AREV Drug and Alcohol Policy:

Drugs, alcohol, tobacco products, vapes and marijuana products are strictly forbidden at Camp without prior authorization from our medical staff. Camp AREV reserves the right to search for and confiscate these items at any time. Unauthorized possession of these items will result in immediate expulsion from Camp at the camper's expense.

Payment Guidelines:

  • Full payment is due at the time of registration.

  • Cancellation 30 or more days from the start of camp: 50% refund, or transfer registration to next camp session (partial balance remaining after next camp session will be classified as a one-time tax deductible donation.

  • Cancellation 15 days or less from the start of camp: no refund possible, we will classify your registration as a one - time tax deductible donation.

*Any camper caught with these items will have the items immediately confiscated and can be sent home based on the discretion of the Camp Director.
