Juniors Main Speaker: Stephen Goodale
Stephen Goodale is excited to be sharing with Juniors Camp this summer, even though camp won't be meeting in person. He grew up going to camps like this and learning all about who God is, and how He loves us. Stephen is the Director of Ministries at FAPC in Fresno, and loves serving with the youth group and Children's Ministries there. He has been creating the children's messages for the worship service at FAPC and is thrilled to be sharing with Camp. You may have seen Stephen at AEUNA retreats and camps playing board games or card games. In his free time he also plays video games like Minecraft and Fortnite, reads Marvel comics, and finds new board games to try. He can't wait until he can be back at camp in person, whatever that will look like!
JH/HS Main Speaker: Pastor Harut Khachatryan
Pastor Harut Khachatryan was born in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia. Growing up in a Christ-centered family, he was taught about the importance of a spiritually purposeful life. In 1997, he and his family relocated to Buenos Aires, Argentina and established themselves there. After finishing his high school education at “San Gregorio El Iluminador” Harut was accepted at “Seminario Biblico de Fe” where he graduated with his Masters of Theology in Pastoral Ministry. His credentials were later transferred and accredited through the Latin University of Theology in the United States.
Always passionate about his musical abilities, he has recorded two audio productions in Armenian and Spanish and continues to serve the community through every opportunity. Along with his wife, Aylin Kadimyan and their two children Joseph and Samuel, Harut has settled in at the United Armenian Congregational Church in Los Angeles, California, having been called to serve as the Pastor of Christian Education. Throughout his life journey Pastor Harut has kept God’s promise to Joshua as his own. In Joshua 1:9 God tells His servant “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord you God is with you wherever you go."
In one year of camp at Camp AREV
children and youth are introduced to Jesus Christ
campers will decide to follow Jesus for the first time
campers will decide to make other life-changing decisions that will help them in their walk with Christ
