Summer camp at Camp AREV is fun filled, spiritually driven week long camp that helps campers get out of their daily routine and experience God's amazing creation while helping them worship their amazing Creator. Our aim is to make sure campers have THE BEST WEEK OF THEIR LIVES, walk closely with Jesus Christ, and create long lasting memories.
During Junior summer week, we love interacting with our campers through Bible lessons, singing, arts & crafts and Armenian Christians heritage 🇦🇲. We also play and have FUN together. Fun time includes organized team games (afternoons and evenings) individual free time activities, a trip to Castaic Lake, "camp chaos" and outdoor worship around the victory circle. These and many more are all part of what makes summer camp at Camp AREV so unique and memorable.

Recreation

Meet Our Speaker
Chris Moore
Chris Moore is the Family Ministries Director at Laurelglen Bible Church (LBC) in Bakersfield, California. After working in the corporate world for 12 years, Chris joined the staff at LBC in 2018 to lead the church’s children’s ministry. In the tumultuous culture our children are being raised in, Chris believes that children need to be rooted in God’s Word, but teaching them the Bible should not be stuffy and boring because God is neither. Chris enjoys helping children see the big amazing truths about God found in His Word. Chris will complete his Masters in Divinity from The Rawlings School of Divinity at Liberty University this May.
Chris has been happily married to Heather for 13 years. Chris understands the unique needs of today’s 3rd-5thgraders as he and Heather are in the thick of teaching and discipling their children Samantha (11), Ryan (10), and Kacie (8). Introduced to Camp Arev’s ministry through Heather’s mother, Ruth FitzGerald, and the Ketenjian family, Chris is extremely excited to be able to teach and hang out with the students during Juniors camp.
