High School Summer Camp 2023

Summer Camp at Camp AREV is fun filled, spiritually driven week long camp that helps campers get out of their daily routine and experience the amazing creation while helping them worship their amazing Creator. Our aim is to make sure campers have the BEST WEEK OF THEIR LIVES, walk closely with Jesus Christ and create amazing and long lasting memories
During High School Summer Camp we love interacting with our campers through bible lessons, singing, various seminars relevant to their age and a special focus on Armenian Christian Heritage 🇦🇲 . We also play and have FUN together. Fun time includes organized team games (afternoon and night,) individual free time activities, and "Camp Chaos" are all part of what makes camp so unique and memorable.
Recreation
Outdoor fun for everyone! Including– archery, zip lining, basketball, soccer, volleyball, disc golf, ropes course, hiking and more!
Lodging
Our newly renovated cabins mean enjoying the fresh mountain air can be as comfortable as it is exciting!

Meet Our Speaker
Datev Basmajian
Datev Basmajian is the Youth Pastor of the Armenian Evangelical Churches in the Near East (Lebanon and Syria). He’s been serving the young people since 2010, based in Lebanon, married to Sirag and together they have a son called Ike.
Datev is a leader with a sense of humor. His passion is to minister to young people, invest in their lives, train and empower them to be active in church and ministry. He is passionate about disciple making, reaching out to young people through sports and media. Datev is also involved in school ministry and leads Bible Club. He’s spoken to many youth and junior camps over the years. His background in education and theological studies form his teachings, and his background on being a certified coach supports his relational and one-on-one communication.
Datev loves and plays music, appreciates art and photography, enjoys playing basketball, table tennis, and chess, and is a good swimmer.
Datev likes to travel and meet new people, he is so excited to be the speaker of High School Summer Camp in Camp AREV in 2023.
